maximilian straightened me & my blades out
I am a newbie-ish to the straight and live in Las Vegas. My shaves have not been very desirible. I met max and he showed me why both of my blades would have taken forever to sharpen the way I was going at it. The bevel was off on both. He took both of them and got them sharper than when I got them and they now pass they the hanging hair test. He explained the process and what it takes to keep a sharp blade. And what a collection of cool straights. Someday I hope to own some like his. If you live in LV, he is a must know. I will post more on how thay shave after I use them.

Max is a true gentleman and a master craftsman. You are most fortunate to have gotten to meet him.

Your extremely lucky to live in such close proximity to a gentleman and mentor like Max. I had no such luck when I started!

Max? Who's Max ?
Everyone knows of Max...After so many exchanges over the phone/email and a few restored blades, I will have to privilege and honor to see him next week when my wife and I finally take a few days and go to Vegas for some R&R. He is one of the best.

Max's work has been published, too! I was going to repost the scan but it's a bit large and I didn't feel like resizing. Here's the thread with the scan in the first post. The magazine was European Car.
