Thread: First time shave

Firstly, I'll introduce myself, my name is Justin, and I'm a 26 year old guy from Georgia.. I found this place from Google.
So, I received my first straight in the mail today.. I bought a rugra on the classifieds here from Dylan for $30. The blade was nicely honed and sharp, and everything went off without a hitch ^_^. No cuts, only one dot of blood, which Is less than I usually get with a disposable (I guess I have sensitive skin). It was an excellent experience to say the least, and afterwards I had no irritation as I usually get with the disposable. I was a little confused on how to properly hold the thing though, guess that is something I will get used to.. but the whole process only took about 15mins which is less than I expected for the first time.. Also I like how it lines up my beard (I only shave my cheeks and neck, keeping the full sideburn/jaw/goatee part) along the jaw with a nice and neat line.
