I just took my first straight razor shave!!!
I just finished my first straight razor shave. What a rush. I felt like I was 6 again and watching my father shaving. I was afraid (really afraid) I would cut my throat or at least take a plug out but all I suffered was a nick. To be fair I followed Lynn's suggestions for your first straight razor shave. I only shaved WTG and only the sideburns of each side of the face. The razor was a Boker Edelweiss just purchased form Straightrazordesign. I'll try part 2 tomorrow.

I can see you are a very smart man and you took the good advice you got.
As you shave more and more and develop more facility with the razor you will naturally increase the coverage on your face and quickly move on to challenging strokes and difficult areas. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Sounds great...Congrats!
