Thanked: 267LOL! One of the subtleties of using a straight is control of pressure from the toe to the heel. As you have found out when you lean on the toe it is no big deal with a round point but reminds you when you are using a spike. It is not just the speed it is the uneven pressure.
You are doing very well for 4 months.
