    Default Possible to overstretch?

In one of Mantic's videos, he cautioned overstretching with a DE. I'm wondering if that same advice pertains to SR shaving. Is too much stretching ever a bad thing?

I don't know this from experience, but have heard from another member that he had been overstretching causing ingrown hairs. The theory was that if he stretched too hard it would allow the razor to cut at a level, as he put it "below the skin", this caused the hair to sink below the level of the skin thus growing below the level of the skin. I have not experienced this and have personally stretched very far in many situations, other than occasional irritation, caused by the stretching or from bad technique while attempting to get a difficult area, I have not had any major problems with over stretching. i would think that if you were overstretching your skin would tell you and why tempt fate on something that others have tested repeatedly. One thing you may want to try is PMing mantic to ask why he says this. He may not see this thread and this could direct him here. If you do this please report back with what he says.
