Default A friend picked up a razor for me

She said if it isn't a quality razor to give it back and I won't have to pay for it. I'm not sure what the quality is...can you guys help?

    It is a

J.R. Torrey Razor Co. Worchester Mass.

I'll be sending it out to one of you gentlemen to fix it up if it is worth fixing up.

So is it worth keeping and getting shave ready?

It's a good brand, but a lot depends on the condition.

It looks to be in okay condition, but I probably couldn't tell if it wasn't.

I'm in Pennsylvania...is there someone in the area that I should use to get it honed/sharpened/whatever?

    thanks

I also have a Torrey in my collection and it is a great shaver. Check the classifieds here under Member Services and you will be able to find someone who can get it shave ready for you if it's in good condition. As others have said, please post a few pictures when you have the time.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???
