Thread: About time!

Finally, this morning a breakthrough. Two and half months down the road and I got a good shave with no blood!! Couldn't wipe the smile of my face if you tried. Just wanted to say thanks to everyone that posts here with such sage wisdom. Hopefully, I can make a habit of leaving my styptic pencil in the medicine cabinet where it belongs. Thanks again.

The breakthrough or unusually fine shave is what keeps us plowing through the learning curve. 'One weeper today, but used a newly recovered vintage soligen that didn't want to ride the stones flat - so I'm pleased anyway.

'First shave w/ one new (to me) razor was the closest, smoothest to day (4.5 mo). The lovely bride confirms.
