Thread: Honmeister in Australia

Hey, Team.

I'm another Aussie. I have just gotten myself a cute little Kufmann straight razor, my first, and while it seems in good shape I haven't a clue how to get it shaving sharp. I've taken steps towards getting myself a hone (or two) and have a strop in transit (thanks Tony!). While I'm not too concerned about destroying my Kufmann with my inept efforts (hey, it only cost me $15), I'd like to actually be able to use it on my face.

Also, I'd very much like to get a second razor. I figure using two in rotation would give them 48 hours to rest between abuse.

Perhaps I'll have to drop John a line and get him to point me in the right direction.
