Well I finally did it
I want to once again thank everyone that helped me in my thread I posted about 2 weeks ago.
I was having major problems and I was experiencing excruciating hair pulling pain while shaving. I was told to send it back out to get it re-honed which I never did. What I did do was something I was itching to try before having it honed was to use Chrom ox .5. I had ordered some from Chris on here a while back but never used it and figured this would be a good time to try it out.
I had some left over tiles that I cut into 8in x 3in and glued the the same size piece of balsa wood and made a homemade pasted strop thanks to Wiki and the poster who made it.
I made about 21 passes on it which I know was a lot but I kept increasing it based on how it cut my arm hair. I wiped off the blade and stropped on plain leather 50 times.
I whipped up some CF lime and applied it to my face with no prep what-so-ever except a splash of hot water to moisten my face a bit.
I should note that my whiskers were the same length it always is when I cut it which is somewhere between 1/8th to 1/4in.
I placed the razor to my face and BINGO! No pain! I started with my burns and cheek then to the neck on one side and the same on the other side.
Now this is the part im proud of. I was able to do my chin with minimal discomfort. Basically I was able to shave my entire face for the first time pain free. I did a WTG and then an XTG and left it at that. Oh there was one other thing I was proud of too. NO NICKS! NO BURN!
Ahhh what a beautiful thing...
The only problem I came across was after my first pass, my shaving cream was almost gone in the bowl and had to moisten it with more water. Maybe I made the cream to thick or thin? Anyone?
Anywho, once again, I thank everyone who helped me with this matter and gave me TONS of useful tips and info on getting through this.

Glad to hear it!
A great straight razor shave is a beautiful thing. I'm glad you stuck it out and finally achieved it.
