    Christmas present on way! After a couple months reading/learning from everyone and shaving with a 3 piece combstyle DE, I got to order a straight with strop set along with DVD. Talked the wife into letting me watch DVD till present time. Just excited is all. Merry Christmas!

    Well, you are ahead of the game in that you have been using a DE so probably have been using a brush and soap/cream.

    Congratulations on the new setup. Just hang in there...it's almost Christmas! Funny when grown men act like little children with regard to their shave gear!
