If it's only for one I dunno. If you have a rotation a vintage spoon holder (ebay) is pretty cool. With a drawer to hold blades on this one.

I use these test tube stands.

18 & 25 mm Wood Test Tube Rack, 13 Tube

At $8.00, it has 13 slots. The 6 holes on the bottom row are good for larger straights, like meatchoppers. Top 7 holes fit DEs and normal size straights, like a Dubl Duck and such.

If your collection grows, easy rotation. Get a few racks, keep one rack counter top, have other racks stored out of the way for later use.

They are hardwood, but a rough, industrial, non-stained finish. Easy to sand and finish if you want pretty.

Also, if you play with mixing your own witch hazel scents,or glycerin, get some glass tubes with screw caps and put in available slots.

    edit:
figured take a quick pic and post. Haven't had DEs in it a while, and just remembered the top row doesn't hang the DE but bottoms out, standing on its shaft. I suppose if important for DE to hang, (instead of standing on its shaft) on top rack, hole needs to be drilled. Bottom row hangs fine.

Here's where I got mine. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done:

For my DE's I use a brushed finish metallic toothbrush stand from Wally Tart, less than $10. Nothing too fancy, but not too shabby either

    Great idea !
