I've read about melting soap in the microwave to let it settle in your mug so it's easier to build your lather. My question as silly as it may be is, do you use the same cup with the soap puck in the bottom to build your lather? Doesn't that use more soap. Granted I've been using the VDH puck because it works well, but I'm not sure if it'll make to rich a other especially since you need to draw all the runaway lather back to the middle which would be right back on top of the puck... Right or am i missing something?
