pasted strop
I have been using my razor for about a month now. Using the leather part of my 4 sided strop before every shave.
I am noticing that my razor is starting to pull just a bit now as I shave. The other three sides are pre pasted and marked "1" ".3" and ".5"
Could someone here give me a rundown on how (what order ect...) to use these. I assume that I use the same motion as I do when using the daily leather strop side of the paddle.

You may be mistaken about the three pasted sides - I think you have a 3, 1, and .5, especially if Tony made the paddle. I never heard of a .3 micron?????
That being said, start with the 3 micron, then the 1, then the .5. Go spine first for 20 laps each. After each round, clean the blade with a rag to remove any paste and prevent contamination of the other sides. After the pastes, 30 laps on plain leather.
That should do it. If not, you may have to get a Norton stone.

Rob is right. I bought a paddle strop from Tony however I got 3, 1, .5 and .25
I use a hanging strop for every day stropping.

Good deal - thanks for the info guys. You are right its not a .3 Its just a minor indentation that looked like a "."
Anyways I did exactly how you said. Hopefully I will notice a difference in the AM when I shave. Does the paste work its way in over time. With espesially the 3 its felt as though the coating was not even all the way across. Should I just use my fingers to really get it in or just leave it and let the stropping do the work.
I noticed that my nice oretty white sides got a bit dirty too.. I see that this thing will get black over time eh'

Robert, You nailed the instructions exactly! Thanks.
The paste will wer in over time and never comes out perfectly even. The blackening is small metal particles wearing off and will not harm anything. My paddles are all jet black now and still cut very well.
