Default Help have dinged my razor

Hi I think I caught my razor very slightly on the tap when viewed under a strong light there seems to be a very small area near the tip where the light reflects different I cant feel it and it does not mark the strop. I have access to a belgian blue do you think I can hone out this small mark myself or do I need to send it away the mark is very small thanks for your advice in advance.

It depends on exactly how large the ding is. The blue is a slow stone to begin with and probably has a grit equal to around a 5-6K so if you really have a ding it could take a very long time and then you will need something higher in grit to finish it off.

This tells the story, all of it. Even if you get the ding out you will still need to progress to higher grits to smooth out the cutting edge.
