    Default Honing services help

I keep reading about honing services, but can't find them anywhere on this site. Who is the best honemeister (or mistress) IYHO and how do I go about contacting that person and sending them my razor?

Did you look in the vendor's section?

I would send a PM to Lynn. You could check out the SRD website too. They may be able to handle it.

There are lots of guys that hone. Since I do my own blades I don't keep up too well with it.

It would be nice to see if you can find someone in the New York area, within a few days mail service of New York that is.

    Default vendor services

Just looked there and only seeing stuff for sale, not services or anything. I will send the PM, I just don't want to burden anyone's mailbox that is probably extremely busy.

Well that makes sense though. We never really think of "honing" as something tangible that we would need to buy from someone.

I noted there was a place in New York, but I've not heard much about them. Going with someone tried and experienced is important in this arena.

Check my original post again. I added a link.

What you need to do is use the button on the right that says "search this forum" and add the word "honing".
