Success!!
After 2+ months, I finished my whole face without having to do any touch-ups with a DE. I paid a small price with a couple of small nicks, but it's nice to know my technique is improving.

Congratulations! Your shaves will continue to improve and before you know it, your DE might have a nice layer of dust on it.
Why doesn't the taco truck drive around the neighborhood selling tacos & margaritas???
