    Smile Welcome Gemok

Nice to see another face around here (figuratively speaking).

I don't know anything about that razor. It's Swedish steel so there's good chance it coulod be a good shaver, but for that price I can hone and ship one to you that is unquestionably good steel and shave ready to boot. PM me if you're interested.

Make sure you spend lots of time in the Permanent Archives section of the Help files as well as use the Search function liberally here in the Forums. If that fails, don't hesitate to ask about what you haven't found. We like to help.

Welcome to the SRP! Actually if you want to restore an old razor, Tony Holmes is a UK seller with reasonable shipping rates and some real gems. His descriptions are also very accurate. Half of my shaving rotation (including my absolute best shaver) is what I bought from him lol. Check him out on e-bay. He should be coming out with some REALLY nice stuff soon. I was drooling over the Express boxed set.

However you should also buy something that's already been honed by one of our more senior members, so you have a standard for honing your future work. I've been lucky to have had a honing lesson with X, so all of my work has been up to par.

    Smile hi Gemok

am i right in thinking that you are in the UK? Well thats cool, i know there are more members here than i know about and this place is great albeit most of the others are across the pond.
I live in the North east corner of scotland between aberdeen and inverness and have been lucky to get the help i needed.
AS for buying razors i replied to a thread in the newbies corner about buying, those were my thoughts looking back over the last year or so.
If your interested in honing and such like a few of the senior members can help online with the use of skype and have an online honing session which is awesome as you are supervised and can ask questions at the same time with the use of a mic and webcam.
I have bought razors on here and direct from members and have never been let down, I have also bought from portal5 he is excellent as you have been told.
Anyways welcome and i hope the razor bug works out as im well taken with this place.

    regards,simon
