BTW, in the USA Classic Shaving sells the TI French point. I didn't link to them because they were showing it as out of stock. Cheaper than the Canadian alternatives too. I bought mine from TI UK because they had them available when they first came out. That is Steve Dempster, the same as "The Perfect Edge". Good guy to do biz with if you're in the British Isles. .... or wherever. Hones a mean edge.
Steve's site is The Invisible Edge. Just a minor correction for Googlers.

Check the factory makers and the custom makers. Some French points are are rounded at the edge, even if the edge is only slight. some are are very straight with no rounding. The Boker site has two French points one slightly rounded, one straight.. Other sites have their French and Spanish points flip flopped. The decision is whether you want the straight point or a slightly rounded point. Look at all the razors offered by a particular maker to decide.

This point is consistent with Portland Razors, but as I stated you must check each site, and more than one model at each site, to gain a consistency of what their definition of a "point" is.
