I'm new to this , I just got my 1st safety razor the other day, the shaving seems to be going ok but I'm having trouble make lather the right way. I'm using Van Der Hagen shave soap with a boar hair brush and I'm building the lather in a mug. I keep getting cream that when applied makes a very thin almost transparent layer on my face and seems to dry quickly. Im not sure if theres too much water and thats why its shuch a thin layer or if its too dry and thats why it drys on my face quickly. I've watched all the videos and cant seem to get it right. Any help it much appreciated
