Tragedy has befallen my Pyramid...
Hello all,
I went to have my Monday night shave just now and found to my dismay that I had what looked like two tiny chips on my Geneva Cutlery Co Pyramid's edge near the tip. I don't know how this happened since it shaved great the last time I used it and the problem was apparent before my pre-shave stropping. I suppose it might have happened during my post shave strop routine, is this sort of damage possible with a few passes (about 10) on linen and few more on leather (about another 10)? More importantly, how do I fix it? Can additional stropping bring the edge back (more passes/more pressure)? What about .5 diamond spray? Will I need to sent this one out for honing? Please help! Here are some pics...sorry for the lousy quality but I only have my camera phone to work with.
