Default Is this a good starting point??

Been looking through the classified sections and fell in love with this:

11/16 ths Wade & Butcher Medium Size Hollow Ground Razor in Gray Patterned Acrylic

I understand a razor with a 'smile' is easier to shave with but harder to hone? I doubt I'd be honing it myself anytime soon though!

Is this a good first razor?

    Thanks

Pretty much anything you'll find in the classifieds here will be a good razor. Shave ready is the most important thing

What you mentioned about it sounds solid
Sounds well fitted to start with, and keep for a lifetime.
More so that you that you love it.
