    Default Off Center

I just got my new Dovo Ebony Stainless steel. I ordered from Vintage Blades LLC and ordered it professionally honed. I noticed it closes off center. (the edge almost touches the left scale) . Is this normal? I am a little dissapointed. A m I just being a stickler. other than this issue i love my set. any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I'd say it sometimes happens. Happened on my very first dovo and I sent it back to germany only to get it back in almost the same state but with hammer marks around the pin on the scales.
if the scales are not too tight it can be corrected a little bit, it's pretty easy if you know what you're doing. if there isn't anybody local to you to help you i'll certainly be happy to, but it's probably not worth the trip in the mail.
if it were me, since it's not a functional problem, i'd just use it as it is and if you're sending out to be honed just ask the person to do that as well (any reputable honer i know can do it).

or contact jim@vintageblades and resolve it with him.

I'll contact him monday. I'm very pleased with everything that came in the set. The off center issue is the only thing. You make a good point its still functional just gotta be very careful closing it. Worst case maybe the ol lady will let me use this as an excuse to spend a little more on my next Razor haha.
