Thread: Some Progress

Alright, now I'm set! I've got the scalpmaster strop, the van der hagen shave kit and the Crown and Sword 1720 all shave ready! Shaving has been going pretty well. I've crossed over to the other side of my face, and have gotten some good results with XTG shaving? Is that proper lingo? Against The Grain? Anyways, I'm not trying to do anything fast, and am definitely respecting the learning process, but I'm really excited to be at the point where I can do this in the morning as part of my routine. I devote some time to it every night and then clean up with the BIC + Barbasol in the AM.

XTG is Across The Grain. ATG is Against. Why not use the Van der Hagen when cleaning up with the disposable in the a.m? Barbasol is just horrible compared to even the cheapest shaving soaps. MHO.
