Thanked: 0Soap and Pre-Shave Oil
I was looking for some insight as to a good moderate cost soap and pre-shave oil.

what kinds of oils do you have in your pantry? lots of good soaps at low low prices. try one from SRD.

I love the SRD Lime. Get some Lansinoh from the grocery store. It's actually breast feeding lotion so you'll find it in the health and beauty section. It's 100% medical grade lanolin. Drop the whole tube in a mug of hot water and it will really melt down after only a few minutes. Squirt maybe a teaspoon into your shaving mug, load your brush with soap, and start making your lather. It mixes right in with the soap, softens your skin tremendously, and makes for a superb shave. I get zero razor burn. Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Interesting idea. Haven't tried that, I don't think I've ever experienced lanolin in a shaving product yet. I liked that skit with Christopher Walken. I especially liked his brother's name.

Thanked: 0Pre Shave Oil
I use baby oil as a pre shave oil and it works great for me.
