    Default Bells and whistles

Well being new and curious, I was wondering what exactly would constitute bells and whistles on a straight razor, other than shave ready?

Yep. Intricate spine work whether that be the checkers on a Fili Barbas Duras or file work on some of the new school razors.

Upgraded pins from the regular brass to decorative and creative materials like Stainless, locking pins etc.

Ivory Scales , 24 ct Gold or Human Bone Scales(hehe).

Boxed Seven day sets with all the above.

See the workshop or gallery or shave of the day for many fine examples.

I have been looking. And there are some beautiful razors with wonderful workmanship is those pages. I have serious razor envy and I havent even seen my first razor yet. I will get it this Sunday though.
