    Glen,
Thank you for all you do to educate us Newbies enabling us to better learn the art of straight shaving. After buying a Dovo Black Micarta from SRD, I bought my first vintage, a D.O. & H. " Clean Cut," from you. These two razors have been great razors and helped me develop a love for straight razor shaving.

I am a former university professor and I find you to be a great teacher. You make the complex simple and always bring things down to the essential elements.

I am constantly learning new things from your helpful posts. THANK YOU!

I wish somebody had said this to me when I was just starting out. About 2 months ago, I had to strop on a piece of leather laid flat on a counter for about a month, and the improvement in my stropping techinque was incredible, not only in regard to the flip but also in really feeling when I had the edge just barely in contact with the lightest possible pressure on the spine. If you haven't tried Glen's suggestion yet, I really recommend it.
