Thread: Hi From Singapore - Looking for Dovo Shavette Razor

Hi Guru's,
As I embark on this wonderful journey of SR Shaving, looking forward to your continued support.
I have been scouting for a Dovo Shavette straight razor (Red holder) for long. I checked with barber supply stores, Little India and Mustafa with little luck.
Could any of the experienced users guide me as to where i could get a Dovo shavette razor?

I was actually looking to touch and feel the razor before actually buying it. Just can't wait to lay my hands on a shavette.

I feel i have some road to travel before i actually turn to a proper SR.

Have looked up street directories and called up many barber supply stores.. But none of them stock Shavette's! What a pity

To be honest though, if you ultimately intend to use a straight razor I'd just bite the bullet and get one, rather than getting a shavette and then a straight later on.

After all, if you get the shavette thats just money that you could have spent on the straight!

I'm not sure where in Singapore you could actually go and handle one though, maybe theres someone here who lives locally to you who could help you out. Check out the members map and see if there is someone, that might be a way to go?

If you're ever in Hong Kong, there's a store here that carries Shavettes, or you can check mine out (shoot, you can even shave with one of mine). I'm actually here to graduate from the Shavette to a real straight.
