Beginners luck
My wife had mentioned the fact that I wanted to start using a straight razor to my mother-in-law. She replied that she still had her late husbands straight razor. Well imagine my elation when I found a Case, a Henckels, and a Royal.
What a way to start my straight shaving experience. All are in good condition and only the Keen Kutter appears to be shave ready. Expecting much worse condition and only one razor my dumba$$ didn't bring a strop. How dump am I?

Kudos to having a great mother-in-law! Three great razors and if your mom-in-law is the best, then mine comes in as photo finish second! This past Christmas she gave me a SRD Premium IV English Bridle Strop, a brush from Stephen's Woodworking, and a couple of Truefitt & Hill saving creams all from SRD! Got to love the moms who love their sons-in-law. Let us know how those shave.
