You just hit the nail right on the head. It seems counter intuitive at first, but the lighter the touch the better the results. In the words of Jockeys, a member here who has some really great tutorial vidoes, "A light touch is paramount." I started with the exact same razor as you from the same place. It takes some time, but it is 100% worth it! Glad to hear it's coming along for you.

By the way, Welcome to the forum!

I love reading those "ah-ha" moments, when you finally GET IT. It kinda makes you want to grow hair faster so you can do it all over again immediately, right?

Especially Lynn. Thank you for organizing this site so that all these like minded people can discuss and exchange ideas.
That's fantastic! Glad you had a successful shave! I was about to mention the skin stretching as it makes a big difference for me, but it sounds like you finally got it to all come together. Congrats!

+1 on that. My neck, which has always been a problem area for me, hasn't felt this good since before I had whiskers! I do, in fact, find myself looking forward to my next shave.

    Keep at it Mr. Clean!
