I got a Dovo Special for fairly cheap and it has the rounded tip. Being a noob myself, I think the rounded tip was the way to go. Not a problem doing the cheeks, but when moving to more advanced areas like the upper lip, I could tell that if I had a spike I would be putting a few nicks in my nose. PM me if your are interested in the Special vendor. His price is about the same as the Best Quality at other places.
