Well after a long break from trying to sharpen and maintain my own razors I think i am ready to try again. I have been a straight razor shaver for years but usually depend on a shavete or feather razor to get the job.
After trying to find all my limited supplies the only thing i needed to buy was a piece of leather as I cant remember which of my strops have which compounds on them.
I have been able to get 3 of my razors to what i believe is a shave ready edge( they all pass the HHT test ) with my very minimalist gear. But i guess i wont know till i shave with them tonight wish me luck
