Howdy-hi, Buckaroos! Lapped me granpappy's two-tone Koken Hone; the logo/name side is brown, the obverse side lime green (brown side developed light slurry; limeside more slurry). When I lapped my Norton 4K/8K, the 8K surface produce more slurry than the 4K side. Question: Am I correct in my assumption that the limeside of my Koken is the finishing side?
