Thanked: 5London
I'm off to London today with my daughter (no, we didn't get an invite to the wedding!) - as I live in Dublin good shaving supplies can be hard to come by. As I'll be in the land of Geo. Trumper and Taylor of Old Bond St - any other recommendations to pick up or puruse. Floris good?
Thanks

Sonds like a wonderful trip!
Yes, London, to me, is the Mecca of wet-shaving!
You have all the fine stores within walking distance.
Trumpers, Penhaligons, TOBS, Truefitt&Hill, Floris and DR Harris. All great shops, with fantastic productsBjoernar
Um, all of them, any of them that have been in front of me over all these years....

+1. It might be a little crowded. That would be a fun trip. Stock up on all the good stuff. I had received some Floris as samples and thought it was quite nice.

Thanked: 5Well - I didn't make it to all places, there are only so many stores a 14 year old will patiently wait in..I also was limited on liquids as I only had hand luggage...
But came back with two tubes of TOBS cream on special (£2.50 each), alum block, styptic and a TOBS medium pure badger brush. I'm over again in June so will stock up..
A quick tip however is that Fortnum & Mason stock (from what I recall) Penhaligons, TOBS, Truefitt&Hill, Floris and DR Harris as well as some other interesting colognes, plus Kent brushes...so if you are pushed for time you can hit TOBS and hop across to F&M to pick up anything else you might need.Last edited by MadsL; 05-04-2011 at 05:37 PM.
