Lot of good points. I agree particularly with no, or very little pressure, and with roughkype, if it isn't sharp enough that may be why you are applying more pressure. Maybe technique too. Read my sig below and following the old barber's advice may help avoid the nicks. In the meanwhile, shave around the mole.
