    Default Last Few Shaves

Have been just about perfect! My 7th, and 8th shaves, respectively. I've been using the old Henry Sears and Son razor I bought from Whipped Dog and it works amazingly. Of course, the shaves aren't BBS yet, but no cuts, nothing close to any cuts, no razor burn, and a pretty good feeling face. I haven't even used any aftershave yet, but because I only wear cologne when I'm looking nice, I think I'll start with some aftershave soon. Any suggestions?

Good to hear about your success, and good on ya! Wielding a straight razor takes a little getting used to, but it sounds like you are well past the worst. Took me a lot longer to get to where you are now for sure.
On aftershaves, there are so many options it is hard to recommend anything. Some have high alcohol, some very little if any, some smell a lot, others nothing. If I were to give a single suggestion tho, I don't think any wet shaver should be without the experience of a nice classical Bay Rum. It's history stretches some 300 years, and a whole lot of us enjoy it thoroughly.
    Best of luck.
