Thread: Was I deceived?

I bid on and won an auction on eBay. In this photo there are two razors and a PUMA box. eBay item #270014610509

In the description it says "...GERMANY COMES WITH ORIGINAL SOLINGEN BOX..."

The razor has this stamped into it "25". "S.M.F." (in a pennant), and "Solingen Germany"

I thought I was bidding on a PUMA and a Black Diamont.

What do you think?

Yes you fell prey to a misleading suggestion. The box is original to Solingen, but not those razors. You could try for a refund, but it looks like you got a good enough deal.

Yeah, I think so. Why did he have pictures
of two different razors. The guy is obviously
a jerk. Hopefully what goes around will come
around. I would't fret over it too much.

If this were the only thing in life I had to concern myself with I'd be happy in the extreme.

I sent him two emails asking for an explination. If he doesn't respond in a week or so I'll post neutral feedback. If he does respond, I think I'll simply ask that he keeps an eye out for a PUMA for a couple of weeks and offers it to me at a reasonable price.


Does that sound fair?

That's about all that you can do.
To be honest there are too many
other razors out there to be dealing
with this guy. Keep your eyes and ears
open and I'm sure that a Puma will
turn up.

The seller emailed this note to me: "if you are not happy with the item please return for a full refund thank you helene".

I'm keeping the razors and "original box" :P

I will leave positive feedback.
