    Default New Guy

Hi from San Anonio, Texas. I have been shaving with straights for about two months exclusively now. I went from an electric Braun razor to DE shaving in August. I went from DE shaving to SE shaving in January. That has been my quest for the perfect shave. I really love shaving with straights now. I'm now at a point where I do one WTG pass and one ATG pass. I get a DFS.

Thank you for the forum and all of you who make it a great place to come. I hope to gain enough experience to contribute soon.

Don't be bashful. Everyone can contribute no matter your skill level. There is always someone with less skill than you to whom you can possibly give some tips to. You might even have some insights the senor guys forgot.

    Welcome!!

Listen, I was a newbie just a couple of months ago. These guys are great at helping you out. Don't feel like a pest for asking questions. And for that matter, post up some of your own experiences for the newbies. I've learned so much from these guys, its amazing.

It sounds like your progressing well. It took a while for an ATG for me. I'm still fairly content with the WTG's and XTG's. I'm pretty good at those now. My beard grows in weird directions, so what is a WTG in one part is an ATG an inch lower. So I kind of get it by default.

Anyway, glad to see new folks. They have made me feel right at home, and will do the same for you...

    Good luck!!

Welcome to SRP! Like the others have already said, even though you may be a little new at this you can contribute right away. All insight is great to hear. Good luck with everything!
