First shave down and I think it went pretty darn well. There were a couple of place that gave me trouble and I've got some very slight burn from trying to get them. A couple of nicks, but there were in the same places that a regular cartridge gives me trouble...but I had LESS of them with a straight and not nearly as bad. Not BBS but I'd definitely but it squarely in the DFS category.

Well done !! And after 100 shaves you will see improvements.

Man, it's great to be on the way, isn't it?? I've had more fun shaving in the last 4 months than in the last 40 years... seriously...

Ain't it the truth!?!?! I have hated shaving since about a month after I started...so 25 years plus down and I finally get to enjoy it again. Also got my dad's Shick L-type injector and just got a 40s Gilette SuperSpeed. I'll be pretty well set for whichever amount of time I have to shave. And the good thing is, I have 3 straights that I'm working on restoring.
