Well after giving-in on 5 or so razors on eBay i final won one, no one else bid on it... lol.. I hope there isn't a reason why no one else bid, was it too much? I'm sure you will be able to tell me! But thanks for not out bidding me, finally!!!
Item 160612694911 BEAU BRUMMEL NEAR MINT PEARL Straight Razor Cut Throat
Anyway I read a few posts on here and everyone said the razor was supposed to be good.. I Paid $99usd in auction although the optional buy now price was $400! - I would not be happy if I paid that lol
So.. I now have three razors in the post.. Why dose the post to Australia take so long! I'm so impatient lol

Good razor, I can't really comment on how you did because the value is only what it is worth to you. I wouldn't have spent $400, but then again I wouldn't spend that for anything but a custom.
They are some of my most reliable razors and take a great edge as ducks tend to.
Oh, that is one of the most complete setups I have seen for a brummel.

Great Buy!
IMO, you did very well. That is a well respected razor that looks to be in immaculate condition. Get it professionally sharpened and you should have a winner.
Gorgeous looking razor.

Congrats on the Brummel. I just picked one up also and it gives a great shave. Enjoy it. I think you did well with the price also. Just my 2 cents.

The Brummel is also getting to be a bit collectible.
I had a beauty a few years back. Money got tight and I sold it on Ebay. I really regret selling that razor.
Enjoy yours...

Thanked: 2591Great looking razor, and also top notch shaver.
As far as price well if you were willing to pay it then it is good price
As far as etching, I have not seen Brumels with etch but that does not mean there are not any out there.Stefan

You did well IMHO. I have a couple of Beau Brummels and they are as good a Solingen razor as can be had. That one appears to be in mighty fine condition.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

That is an absolutely beautiful razor, my friend. A wonderful score, indeed! Trust me, I'm green with envy!
