    Like the other guys have said, make sure you pull the skin tight before shaving, this will make a big difference.

    Also make sure you have the razor at 30 degrees

    And make sure you shave in the correct directions, for my chin area i go across that area on a slight angle

    Also, when i get to my mustache area or chin i do sometime re strop about 10 stroks. I know some guys do this but most guys don't. If i don't re-strop i can sometimes get a little bit of pulling on those areas but not all the time. i guess it depends on your razor and how thick you beard is.

    Did you strop the razor at all before using it? even though it is shave ready it will most likely need a strop! and if you did strop it there is always the chance that you rounded the bevel but it docent sound like you did

    My first razor i rounded the bevel the day i got it lol - i was so annoyed.. then i found SRP

    Also once you learn to use your left hand correctly it will make things a lot easier!
