Hi all and thanks for all the info on this site. (Prepare for a little rambling. Sorry.) I've been shaving my head, and usually have had some form of facial hair going on, for lots of years. I've always enjoyed shaving and I get taken in by the power of advertising. So, I have a Fusion Power and I have to admit it is even better than the last powered Gillette razor. I love it. All of my shaving life I've used a mug and brush (okay except the two times in my life when I purchased Norelcos and hated them) but I've always wanted to add a straight edge to the mix. Well, I finally took that plunge and have spent a lot of money recently. Started with Mama Bear's soaps, then checking ebay for other mugs (getting outbid on the ones I really wanted), and then saying "What about finally getting a straight edge?". I read as much as I could and purchased: John West's DVD (thank you Lynn for mentioning it in your great video); and a 3/8 Filarmonica Doble Temple, 5/8 Dovo Classic "Special", and a Dovo strop from Classic Shaving. The DVD hasn't arrived yet, I'm waiting for some mugs, and Lynn should get my razors soon. So, I'm like a kid on perpetual Christmas Eve. Finally, after all that background, I just wanted to know if anyone shaves their head with a straight edge? And if so, any advice? Thanks again because without this site I wouldn't have purchased a SE. Or be broke.
