Thanked: 8Glycerin
Ok, I've been seeing videos for Uberlather, which entails cream, soap & glycerin. So I went to a bunch of different local drug store, thinking that is where I would fine pure glycerin and could not fine anything. I want some so I can experiment with it, particularly whether a half good lather could be got from just soap and glycerin. So apparently I have to order this online. Anyone know of what product is good at a good price. Theres many different types of glycerin and I want the right one for shaving. Any advice on how to use it would be greatly appreciated.

You can buy glycerin in the pharmacy department of your local Walmart.

Thanked: 20They do sell it at drug stores it's just harder to find because it's sold as a suppository. A few years back they used to sell glycerin alongside the mineral oil & stuff like that but now I can only find it in the embarrassing section. Just dont buy the capsules since those are solid vs liquid.

Search glycerin here at SRP and you will find many previous posts with a wealth of information.

It says skin protectant, I don't know if there's any difference between the types.

I got mine at CVS, in the "upset stomach" section.

Whole Foods sells it also.

Thanked: 8I did before posting but is was more usage related not where to get the product. Also the discussion keeps the cream, soap, glycerin formula, I havn't found one that discusses how it would work with just soap and glycerin.
Walt - thank you for, I finally found it at Walmart. I tried Walgreens, CVS, and two other no name drug stores and they all had the suppository pills whisker mentioned and one had a liquid form which was ment for digestion so I didn't think that would be good to put on my face. So I looked online and found this
Amazon.com: Liquid Glycerine Soap Unscented Refill - 32 oz - Liquid: Beauty
but didn't know if that was good or the cheapest. Then on walts suggestion I found it in Walmart next to the bandaids, a product similer in size and quatity as sailnblues posted, just made by humco. Thanks guys
