Default NooB Waiting on the Mail System

Thanks for all the contributers. My gear should be arriving in the mail any day. Looking forward to beginning the adventure of learning the SR shave.

Good luck with your new gear. Don't forget to read the wiki, it has tons of information.

Thanks. I've been reading the wikis here and at B&B. I'm sure as I go through my first few shaves, I'll end up getting more out of the wikis. It will probably help me more as I start making mistakes.

Yep, mistakes are part of the learning process. Make note of them, and they'll guide you on your way. Good luck!

They usually leave scars so notes may not be required....

That means I can write my notes in blood! Unfortunately, I'm not into the whole vampire scene. Maybe post-it notes are the way to go.

    Thumbs up

    Best wishes and good luck.

I recently found watching videos on straight shaving helped me immensely. After reading the Wikis, the videos helped take the mystery out of straight razor shaving. I highly recommend them.

    Happy Shaving!
