    Default Ebay strops?

So I sent my razor off today to be honed and am planning on purchasing a strop before it gets back so I am ready to shave up. I found a ton of strops on ebay and am wondering if anyone has purchased one on ebay. Also is there anything I should be cautious about if I do decide to purchase one through ebay

Don't get that beauty and barber strops off eBay, i got one about 8 months a go and it was pressed leather not real leather.

There is one on eBay that looks like a rebadged dovo and i was interested in seeing what that is like but i decided not to waste my money on it.. just in case..

    Just be careful on eBay

The only eboy strop worthwhile is the prima rindleder Jemico, I have found. I can be wrong! Otherwise, there are lots availiable here~ PM me and I can make recommendations. ...get it on... T.

That sounds like the rebadged dovo strop i saw. If you search for "prima rindleder" it should come up

    Edit: Try "rendleder strop"
For me it comes up with some Dovo strop and a few other that i haven't heard off.

Apparently, there is a source making them for Dovo, Jemico, and others. The leather draws most excellent, for the money! Best budget buy, IMHO ....get it on...Tom

I was looking at a used one from illinois razor strop co. Appears to be in fairly decent used condition. I'm also looking at a few others just curious if there is anything I should avoid or look for as well.

I got one too, and it came with an RSD (razor shaped device) that wouldn't take and edge no matter how hard I tried.
The leather was so hard that it stayed straight no matter what angle you held it at - just rubbish.
This is one company to stay away from IME.
Hang on and enjoy the ride...
