Thread: shops in Los Angeles?

Where is the place in L.A. to go get shaving stuff? razors, brushes etc?

West Coast Shaving has a retail store in Chino Hills, iirc.

I haven't looked but I imagine the Art of Shaving has a store in the area. Not to mention Crabtree & Evelyn usually carries some bowls and brushes. L'occitane, may as well. The Body Shop has a soap as well.

In downtown LA, there is Ross Cutlery. I'm told they have some straight razors, I don't know about accessories. They also offer a honing service. You can find them on the web at Untitled Document

I don't know of any local shops for brushes, soaps, accessories etc. yet (I'm in LA as well). Just starting out myself, I've done most of my research and buying on the web. There are a lot of good shaving websites that offer every product imaginable. It's a good way to get to know the products and what's available, as well as tapping into the wealth of information here on SRP.

Hi ladyblake and welcome. Im not sure where exactly your located but at the Glendale mall theres an Art of Shaving. Its the full service one that does hair and shaves(not sure about legs though) At the arcadia mall theres a cutlery shop (the name escapes me) that sells razors (straight&de) They also carry the Vulfix line of brushes and Col Conk soaps&AS.Also at the same mall theres a Bath&Body Works and Body Shop .Anyways welcome and anything else i can do let me know. Also if your into vintage razors (straight,de,se) let me know im building up a good collection. I also dab into restoration and honing. Good luck with your new venture true01

they just opened an art of shave location at the mall in Sherman oaks off woodman and riverside also. I just went in there to pick up my first kit. bottom floor, middle of the mall. I think they said that they are waiting on their license for the barber, but said they should have it by the end of the month.

In glendale , there is a store next to the mall called O U beauty , it carries DE, and tons of shaving stuff, trumpers soaps creams , ect, also they give u 10% off any of the men's shaving items

I went their this week and told this guy to save his money and go to whipped dog for his first razor, lol
