Greetings from Vancouver
I just found this site. I have enjoyed straight razor shaves at the barber shop. I have never owned a straight razor, and currently use a Gillette Mach 3, which does the job, but I would like to switch to straight razor shaving. Something very manly about that. Anyone know where I can find a straight razor, and strop in my city?

I would suggest finding a vendor from this forum who deals in vintage straights to purchase your first straight/strop set-up. One I would suggest would be whippeddog.com.

Also check the members map to find someone local who might be able to provide hands on help with stropping, prep, etc...
