Well, I wound up buying the Dovo 6/8 Full Hollow Ground Best Quality with black scales: Dovo 100681 "Best Quality" Straight Razor
I will keep watching the classifieds and WhippedDog.com (are there any other places I can look?) for a more economical vintage razor that appeals to me. I love the look of the Bismarck, but I just cannot see myself dropping that kind of change on a single razor right now. Thanks everyone for your input, I really appreciate it!

I don't think you'll go wrong with the dovo, especially if you can now get a vintage blade, as well as, the new razor. I have 4 dovo blades and like them very much.
