Default Do you know anything about this razor?

I found this razor at my aunts house when she passed away and it was up for grabs and since I am a knife fanatic I didnt hesitate...The box says "bought in 1918" and "E. LEE" or "E. 7.EE" and the price says ''$3.00'' The only markings on the blade are the words "CUT MORE" wich are etched into the blade...I want to find out how much it is worth and when it was produced...Thank you for any help and for taking the time to read this post =)

I would say its worth $3.00 as the price says.. . All joking aside.

It's nice. Looking, are you wanting to learn to shave with it? Or just see what it's worth?

I tried to research a bit and could not find any age but a very non-educated guess would be just like the age says around 1918. If that date was not printed on it I would have guessed 1920-1930

I'm just trying to find out if its worth anything...If its not a collectable I way start shaving with it...I know that these razors where mass produced back in the day so I'm assuming there may not be any major value here...I'm currently growing out my beard so no need to shave any time soon lol...thanks for the info sidmind!

I believe that it's more valuable than you think!! It's 'Family'!! I shave with my great grandfather's W&B and also my uncles Genco Grant!

If you want it fully restored, then send it to Glen (GSSIXGUN) if you just want to clean it up a bit, then buy a tube of MASS and some synthetic steel wool.

Hell! I'll use the MASS and synthetic wool to clean it up and I'll hone it and send it back to you for free!! And that Includes Shipping!!

Just give me a PM and we'll set up the deal!!

I love keeping family things in the family!!!

I am not familiar with the maker, but it is a vey nice looking razor, covered tangs are somewhat of a rarity, a little TLC and a good honing and I believe you would have an excellent razor. Very few vintage razors are of low quality.

Just as a side note, we dont do appraisals here. Besides , everyone would have a different opinion.
