No, but I've made my own mayo for the Russian egg-salad. Way better than the store-bought crap.

Thanked: 603Huh?
You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Look at it this way.. Dining in has a bunch of advantages:
1) You get to demonstrate value with your cooking skills
2) She's already in your den
3) You can drink more without worrying about driving. Worst case scenario you take a couple of extra hours to sober up and you have to kill that time somehow
4) Your bed is very close and so is the stereo that should have the love mix ready to play or (even better) already playing
Dining in is the type of situation where the man has every advantage

Thanked: 603Back in my day, "eating out" didn't refer to food...
(you know you've crossed the generation gap, when you have to explain things like this)You can have everything, and still not have enough.
I'd give it all up, for just a little more.

Gross, but true. Urine is sterile until it degrades in the air or becomes contaminated. I combat, urine can actually be used to clean wound (you can also use honey as a dressing...it kills everything apparently. Ancient Egyptians used it in medicine and on wounds). In WWI, Allied tropps uses urine-soaked handkerchiefs to protect against mustard gas attacks...the ammonia in the urine deactivated the gas.
Still, I think peeing on your razors would bring your sanity into qustion.....oh, wait, if you have RAD...too late!

I don't know how celluloid scales would fare, but boiling water would seem to be a good idea. It'd technically take about 15 minutes though, so I don't know how viable it is.

Okay, seems fairly simple. anything with non-wood scales I'll take to some really hot water and scrub with an old toothbrush (I keep them around the shop for just such an occasion), and then some rubbing alcohol.
but what if you have previously owned razors with wood scales? can rubbing alcohol be used without adverse affects? sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I've been sanding away at a blade and it is about ready to send off to get honed, but still needs the internal scrubbing done (no I don't think that anything could have survived the sanding, but will sterilize anyways).
Thanks as always.
