Thread: Just had my first shave

Well, I got my Parker SRW this morning and I just did my first shave with it. I just did one pass, but I got no nicks, although I have a few spots that are stinging (not nearly as bad as they normally do with a cartridge razor though!). I didn't get the closest shave in the world, but about what I would expect from a disposable cartridge razor without going against the hair. I did go against some advice I saw and I went ahead and did my entire face instead of just one side and I also only used my right hand. All in all, I consider it a success and didn't take as long as I thought it would either!

I got a SRW too - and yea I went ahead and shaved my whole face the 1st time too.
you got off a lot better than i did - nicked the crap out of my left cheek the 1st shave - people at work asked what happened the next morning.
but my shave was very smooth - well except for the weeper on my right cheek and the nicks on the left.
